WOD (WORKOUT OF DAY)

CrossFit can give individuals the physical appearance they desire, however, it gives so much more. It can give a person empowerment, confidence and self-esteem, as well as strength (inside and out). My intention is to share and educate others in creating themselves to be the best that they can be; even when they believe it to be less.”
Activities (past and or present):
Besides CrossFit? Soccer, Rugby, Volleyball, Wrestling (HS), Track and Field, bike riding, squash or racquetball, slow pitch…I have participated in most sports.
Most proud accomplishment:
Men’s soccer National Champion two years in a row with two different teams (Calgary Callies in ‘03 and Surrey Pegasus in ‘04)

Favourite WOD:
I like pretty much most of them – LOVE Murph
Most Feared WOD:
Anything with Double Unders!

Meet my Coach Jamie! I cant say enough good things about this guy and, no I'm not looking for brownie points lol I have been going to Crossfit Renegade for a year and 2 months now. I remember the first day I met Jamie he told me I had bad posture. He was right I did have bad posture from years of slouching and, possibly a lack of confidence. Now A year later my posture has improved dramatically and, hey my self confidence too! Jamie really did help me push the limits and, always reminding me that I could do anything I put my mind to. I must say I complained a lot in the beginning and, was constantly second guessing myself. I finally feel like I have the confidence to throw down any WOD to the best of my ability with less complaining lol. I can honestly say Crossfit has changed my mind, body, and soul. I have grown so much physically and mentally over the past year by making positive commitments to my health. Crossfit Renegade is not just a place to work out, the people who train there have become like family to me. I'm sure I drive them nuts sometimes with my princess ways but they are so supportive and, encourage me to do my best every WOD. If anyone has any question about crossfit or how to get started leave a comment or, call Jamie at the Box. I wish I would have joined years ago!!!!

The above is the WOD for the day. I'm looking forward to a good session. I actually didn't end up going to yesterdays class and, hit up Metro Town Mall instead Lol. I usually hit at least 5-6 classes a week so I can miss a day here and, there. To be honest I probably don't take enough rest days. I had a really good shopping session though! I hit up sephora and will post some product reviews later today! Have a great day XO
